Privacy Policy

Jacob Dashboard is a personal dashboard that runs in your browser. Your settings are stored locally in your browser by default. If you choose to connect Google, Jacob Dashboard can sync your settings to a file it creates in your Google Drive appDataFolder.

Data We Store

  • Local storage: dashboard settings, apps/sites, and optional chat history (stored in your browser).
  • Google Drive (optional): a JSON file containing your dashboard settings and related data, stored in appDataFolder.

Google APIs

If you connect Google, the dashboard uses an OAuth access token in your browser to call Google APIs (Drive for syncing settings and Calendar for read-only events if enabled). Tokens are short-lived and may require you to sign in again.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. Data is not shared with third parties except as required to use the Google APIs you enable.

Contact

If you have questions, contact the dashboard owner.
